The 1st K-Friends Sports Festival for the Celebration of Korean Liberation Day

Dear HMK members,

I am very glad to announce this big event, “The 1st K-Friends Sports Festival for the Celebration of Korean Liberation Day”

This event will be on Sunday, August 15 at Sylvan Park Leonia, NJ

It’s free, no entry fee! And you will get a gift and more! Because we are going to have some fun games such as Yut-nori(Korean traditional board game), Dodge ball, Relay race, OX quiz, etc. If you win the games, you will get more presents!

Event Time Schedule

9 AM to 10:50 AM : Set up the place for the event

11 AM to 11:45 AM : Kumdo Demonstration 1

Bon-Kook-Kum-Bup, Jo-Seon-Se-Bup, Bon1,2,3, Cutting

11:45 AM to 12:00 PM: Lunch Time

(Bring your own lunch because there is no food store. water will be provided)

12 PM to 12:45 PM : Kumdo Demonstration 2

12:45 PM to 12:55 PM : Trial for cutting

1:00 PM to 1:45 PM : Match and Practice

2:00 PM to 4:00 PM : Games for fun (All people can enjoy together!)

During the event, there will be various sports activity. So, you can try them!

We need volunteers for the event. If you help the event, you will get a community service certificate!
