Sharing an Inspiring Story: Former HMK Members Dr. & Mrs. Park

Yesterday, I came across a YouTube lecture by Dr. Park, a former member of HMK.

It has been about 10 years since he moved to Boston, and while we can no longer train together at HongMooKwan, I have always deeply admired his life of service.

Last year, during the Goyokai Kendo Tournament in Boston, I had the pleasure of having lunch with his wife, Mrs. Susan Park, who also trained with us here at HMK. She is currently serving her community as an elected Town Meeting Member in Brookline, MA, and is also very active as an author and educator.

I am sharing this with you because I believe the story of Dr. Park and his family’s dedication to service will be a positive influence on our HMK community. Please take a moment to watch the video and find inspiration in their journey.
